I’m pretty picky when it comes to Italian food, but this place truly hits the spot. It’s the perfect spot for a cozy date night or a nice dinner out. Everything is made fresh in-house, from the pizza dough to the pasta, so be prepared to wait a little. Trust me, it’s worth it, you won’t be disappointed. They also have a full bar with some amazing cocktails, so don’t skip out on those. My favorite dish is the cavatelli, but the lemon chicken is also absolutely delicious. I highly recommend making a reservation since they tend to fill up fast. There’s both indoor and patio seating, plus convenient street parking right out front.

Pizza crust is really good. The daviola pizza is really hot. I wish the black olives were not as salty. But anyhow it didnt ruin the whole pizza experience. Took a photo of the almost empty pizza box and noticed there's any oil residue on it. Which for us was good, less guilty getting pizza coz its not a dough swimming in oil. Next time im eager to try the Tartufo pizza.

The short rib pasta was absolutely incredible — rich, tender, and full of flavor. The tonnarelli cacio e pepe was perfectly balanced and the truffle took it to the next level. Everything was fresh and clearly made with care. Huge shoutout to Kevin at the bar — he was super friendly, helpful with recommendations, and his love of sports made the whole vibe even better while dining solo at the bar. Service like that makes a big difference. Also… the bread. Oh my god, the bread! Warm, crusty, and served with this amazing dip — honestly could’ve just eaten that all night. Super reasonable prices for the quality you’re getting. Definitely a new go-to. Highly recommend!

H.O.M. Italian Eatery is a well-established Italian restaurant located on Ventura Boulevard, right across the street from the VW dealership and just a block away from Trader Joe’s in Woodland Hills, CA. My wife and I had been wanting to try this spot for quite a while, and since the in-laws were in town, we decided it was finally time to go for it. Side note: It’s really important to make a reservation here. If you try to walk in without one, there’s a good chance you’ll have to wait quite a while depending on how busy they are. The service was amazing. Everyone working there was constantly on the move, making sure every guest had what they needed. Don’t hesitate to ask for anything they’re happy to help and they are very attentive. The ambiance is modern Italian, with plenty of greenery on the walls, stylish leather seating, and a cozy, welcoming vibe. There’s also a bar area with a TV if you want to catch a sports game. For dinner, I ordered the Pollo Limone, which is their take on chicken piccata served with angel hair pasta. The chicken was perfectly marinated in a light lemon sauce absolutely delicious. I’d definitely get it again. My wife ordered the Cavatelli Norcina, a sausage pasta in a creamy sauce that was, honestly, to die for. We also shared their bread appetizer, which comes with a side of honey butter simple but so good. Overall, the food was outstanding, the service top-notch, and the atmosphere warm and inviting. I wouldn’t hesitate to come back 100% for a special occasion or a holiday dinner. Thanks for the wonderful experience, H.O.M. Italian Eatery. I’ll definitely be seeing you again soon!

Great place. I see this restaurant on a daily basis it's usually busy. It was time to stop by and have a try. I wish I had gone with more appetite. We order 5 plates all together. Pane, bruschetta, Margherita pizza, Tonnarelli and from (lil homies menu) marinara spaghetti. We decided to have red wine. For dessert we went with Cannoli Siciliani and Expresso.

This was my go-to order in favorite during the pandemic, I was averaging 2-3 a week. They have the BEST Pizza Margherita in LA way better than Eataly and less pricey. I wish you guys would expand down to Santa Monica, all the good wood fire pizzas around here have disappeared. Despite having moved I make it a point to drive through Topanga Canyon and have dinner here a few times a year. Which means I am overdue! This is a great place to book ahead and celebrate a special occasion whether it be date night, or with family, 8-10 people can be accommodated comfortably, if your group is bigger than that you may end up wanting to book out the whole place. The ambiance is lovely, the food is great, the wine is great, the desserts are great! This place is the real deal. There are few other places that rival this restaurant. Pizza Antica in Silicon Valley's Santana Row is on par with quality, but the ambiance at HOM is 5x nicer and less crowded and more affordable. Truly a place where you can feel at home.

Visited for my Bday Dinner and was greeted with a warm welcome from the owner Gennaro and staff. We had the Boscaiola, Spicy Fusili Vodka, Spaghetti marinara, cheese bread and brussels sprouts. Everything was amazing with great flavors. Definitely recommend this family style Italian restaurant if you're looking for great food, service and amazing people. You'll absolutely feel at H.O.M

This place was awesome!! Our server, drew was very caring and efficient. The menu had lots of great options, I recommend the pasta and salmons, both were absolutely fabulous and exquisite ! Totally recommend this place for dates and families! Food was completely eaten! The bread and oil was awesome, and the best was the pasta with pink(vodka) sauce was the best.
